I don’t know how many times we’ve come upon something on the land where we think, “There’s a story here!”
While I’m not a fan of abandoned cars in a yard, these are an exception. You can just feel the character, the purpose, the creativity. Or, maybe I’m just an artist, wandering the land and dreaming up scenarios.
There are sculputures at Harmony Hollow that incorporate car parts. We continue to unearth discarded pieces of metal and half-finished experiments in areas that were once used for welding, metal casting, and sandblasting.
Were these cars meant for a restoration project? Were they picked over for sculpture pieces? Did someone park them one day and never returned? Whose were they?
We will get to the bottom of this some day, and we can’t wait to hear the background!
