Happy Halloween from Harmony Hollow

Harmony Hollow house decorated for Halloween

It’s finally the time of year that kicks off the season here in Arizona. That is, it’s the season when you can comfortably be outside without melting.

It’s the start of the hiking season, and you can see the excitement as the Spur Cross Ranch Conservation and Jewel of the Creek parking lots start to fill up with visitors coming to enjoy the trails and the beauty of the Sonoran desert.

We have friends who love hiking in the 100+ degree heat, but not us, and we do not recommend that!

We’re also starting to feel the excitement of fall, putting us in the Halloween spirit, and I decided to dress up an old photo of the house with a Photoshop costume.

As I look at the monster’s teeth, I can’t help but think about it gobbling up our bank account.

We keep telling ourselves that it’s all worth saving this place from development and bringing the house back to life.
